La Croix-du-Perche is a place and a community with 163 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in northern France Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire .

La Croix-du-Perche is located in the Perche Regional Nature Park a good 50 km (driving distance) southwest of Chartres at an altitude of approx. 215 m . The next larger town is Nogent-le-Rotrou (approx. 20 km to the west). The climate is influenced to a large extent by the sea and is therefore almost frost-free; Rain (approx. 680 mm / year) falls throughout the year.

Around 1250 monks from Thiron Abbey founded a priory church ; It is unclear whether the place already existed then or only developed afterwards. A castle (Château Gaillard) is mentioned in the 15th century .

- The originally Romanesque , but later changed parish church is dedicated to St. Consecrated to Martin of Tours . The walls of the nave and its wooden vault with tie rods come from a renovation in the 15th and 16th centuries. Century; the church windows were also gothic at that time . The ornament of the nave are the ornamental paintings from 1537 on the wooden vault, which is laterally stabilized by tie rods that are partially carved.
