Marcilly-en-Villette is about 17 kilometers south of Orléans . The Bourillon rises on the southern edge of the municipality . Marcilly-en-Villette is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sandillon in the north, Férolles in the northeast, Vienne-en-Val in the east, Ménestreau-en-Villette in the south, La Ferté-Saint-Aubin in the southwest and Saint-Cyr-en-Val in the west and northwest.
