Sigloy is a French municipality with 678 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement Orléans and is part of the canton of Saint-Jean-le-Blanc (until 2015: Canton Jargeau ). The inhabitants are called Sigloyois .

geography

Sigloy is located in the Sologne landscape about 24 kilometers east-southeast of Orléans on the Loire . Sigloy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Châteauneuf-sur-Loire in the north, Germigny-des-Prés in the east, Guilly in the southeast, Neuvy-en-Sullias in the south, Tigy in the south and southwest and Ouvrouer-les-Champs in the west.
