Coinces is a French municipality with 543 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement Orléans and the canton Meung-sur-Loire (until 2015: canton Patay ). The inhabitants are called Coinçois .

Coinces is about 17 kilometers northwest of Orléans . Coinces is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Patay in the north and north-west, Rouvray-Sainte-Croix in the north, Sougy in the north-east, Bricy in the east and south-east and Saint-Péravy-la-Colombe in the south and west.
