Sennely is located about 31 kilometers south-southeast of Orléans . The Cosson flows through the municipality . Sennely is surrounded by the neighboring communities Vienne-en-Val in the north, Vannes-sur-Cosson in the east, Souvigny-en-Sologne in the south, Vouzon in the south-west and Ménestreau-en-Villette in the west.
