Boigny-sur-Bionne is a French commune with 2,128 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement Orléans and the Canton of Saint-Jean-de-Braye (until 2015: Canton Chécy ). The inhabitants are called Boignaciens .

Boigny-sur-Bionne is located about nine kilometers east-northeast of Orléans on the Bionne . Boigny-sur-Bionne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marigny-les-Usages in the north, Vennecy in the northeast, Traînou in the east, Mardié in the east and southeast, Chécy in the south and Saint-Jean-de-Braye in the west.
