Saint-Denis-en-Val is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Jean-de-Braye in the north in the north-west, Combleux and Chécy in the north-east, Sandillon in the east and south-east, Saint-Cyr-en-Val in the south, Saint-Jean- de-Blanc to the west.
history
A first church can be assumed to be in the sixth century. In 1022 it is mentioned that the dominion of Saint-Denis was given to the Abbey of Saint-Mesmin de Micy.
