Baule is located on the northern side of the Loire , about 20 kilometers southwest of Orléans . The municipality is located in the Val de Loire UNESCO World Heritage Site . Baule is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Bardon in the north and north-west, Meung-sur-Loire in the north-east, Dry in the east, Lailly-en-Val in the south, Beaugency in the south-west and Messas in the west and north-west.
The A10 autoroute runs through the municipality . The municipality's train station is on the Paris – Bordeaux line .
