The canton Beaugency is a French administrative unit in the Arrondissement Orléans in Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire ; its main place is Beaugency . In the course of the French cantonal reform in 2015, the canton was enlarged from seven to thirteen municipalities.
Claude Bourdin ( DVD ) has been a representative in the Départementrat since 2001 . In the period from 2015 to 2021, Claude Boissay and Shiva Chauvière will represent the canton (both DVD).

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Beaugency included the seven municipalities of Baule , Beaugency , Cravant , Lailly-en-Val , Messas , Tavers and Villorceau . Its layout corresponded to an area of 145.41 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 4502.
