The Canton Châlette-sur-Loing is a French canton in the Arrondissement of Montargis in the Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire ; its main town is Châlette-sur-Loing . Since 2004, Franck Demaumont ( PCF ) has been his representative on the Department's General Council .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the six municipalities of Cepoy , Châlette-sur-Loing , Corquilleroy , Pannes , Paucourt and Villevoques belonged to the canton of Châlette-sur-Loing . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​81.71 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 4533.

The canton was created in 1973 from parts of the previous canton of Montargis . The redesign took place in 2015.
