Until the state-wide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, the canton of Pithiviers consisted of the 20 municipalities of Ascoux , Bondaroy , Bouilly-en-Gâtinais , Bouzonville-aux-Bois , Boynes , Chilleurs-aux-Bois , Courcy-aux-Loges , Dadonville , Escrennes , Estouy , Givraines , Guigneville , Laas , Mareau-aux-Bois , Marsainvilliers , Pithiviers , Pithiviers-le-Vieil , Santeau , Vrigny and Yèvre-la-Ville . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​338.11 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 4529.
