Crottes-en-Pithiverais is a French municipality with 339 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pithiviers and the Canton of Pithiviers (until 2015: Canton Outarville ). The inhabitants are called Crottois .

geography

Crottes-en-Pithiverais is located about 28 kilometers north-northeast of Orléans . Crottes-en-Pithiverais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bazoches-les-Gallerandes in the north, Attray in the east, Neuville-aux-Bois in the south and Aschères-le-Marché in the west.

history

In 1972 the previously independent municipality of Teillay-Saint-Benoît was incorporated.
