Dadonville is about 38 kilometers northeast of Orléans . The Essonne River limits the municipality to the north. Dadonville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bondaroy in the north, Estouy in the northeast, Yèvre-la-Ville in the east, Bouilly-en-Gâtinais in the south and southeast, Ascoux in the south, Pithiviers-le-Vieil in the west and Pithiviers in the northwest.
