Ascoux is a French commune with 1,164 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the canton of Malesherbes and the Arrondissement of Pithiviers .
It is bordered to the northwest by Pithiviers-le-Vieil , to the north and east by Dadonville , to the southeast by Bouilly-en-Gâtinais , to the south by Bouzonville-aux-Bois and to the west by Laas .
