Le Malesherbois is a French commune with 8,201 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire and is the capital of the canton of Malesherbes in Arrondissement of Pithiviers .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 by merging the previous municipalities of Malesherbes , Coudray , Labrosse , Mainvilliers , Manchecourt , Nangeville and Orveau-Bellesauve . Since then, all former municipalities have had the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .
