Malesherbes is a village and a former French community with 267 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the far north of the Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Pithiviers and the Canton of Malesherbes .

With effect from January 1, 2016, Mainvilliers was merged with the former municipalities of Coudray , Labrosse , Malesherbes , Manchecourt , Nangeville and Orveau-Bellesauve to form the Commune nouvelle Le Malesherbois and since then has had the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .

Neighboring towns are Blandy in the north-west, Brouy in the north, Nangeville in the north-east, Orveau-Bellesauve in the east, Césarville-Dossainville in the south and Audeville in the south-west.
