Inter-Provincial Championship 2018

The Inter-Provincial Championship 2018 (also Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial Championship 2018 for sponsorship reasons ) is the sixth season of the national first-class cricket competition in Ireland, which was held from May 1 to September 6, 2018. It was the second edition of the competition that was awarded first-class status by the International Cricket Council .

format

Each team plays each other twice. There are 16 points for a win, 3 for a draw and 8 points for a tie. There are also bonus points in the first 100 overs in the first innings for successful batting and bowling.
