Labrosse is a village and a former French commune with 6,047 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the far north of the Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Pithiviers and the Canton of Malesherbes .
With effect from January 1, 2016, Labrosse was merged with the former municipalities of Coudray , Malesherbes , Mainvilliers , Manchecourt , Nangeville and Orveau-Bellesauve to form the Commune nouvelle Le Malesherbois and since then has had the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .
Neighboring towns are Coudray in the north-west, Malesherbes in the north, Augerville-la-Rivière in the north-east, Dimancheville in the east, Briarres-sur-Essonne in the south and Manchecourt in the west.
