Attray is located about 28 kilometers northeast of Orléans . Attray is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Jouy-en-Pithiverais in the north, Escrennes in the east and northeast, Mareau-aux-Bois in the southeast, Santeau , Montigny and Chilleurs-aux-Bois in the south, Neuville-aux-Bois in the southwest, Crottes en-Pithiverais to the west and Bazoches-les-Gallerandes to the northwest.
