Boisseaux is a French municipality with 497 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pithiviers and the Canton of Pithiviers (until 2015: Canton Outarville ). The inhabitants are called Boisseliens .

Boisseaux is located about 50 kilometers north-northeast of Orléans . Boisseaux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rouvray-Saint-Denis in the north and north-west, Andonville in the north and north-east, Erceville in the east, Outarville in the south and south-east, Oinville-Saint-Liphard in the south-west and Barmainville in the west. The municipality's train station is on the Paris – Bordeaux line .
