Courtempierre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sceaux-du-Gâtinais in the north and west, Château-Landon in the northeast, Treilles-en-Gâtinais in the east, Mignères in the south, Mignerette in the southwest and Corbeilles in the west and southwest.
