Rice malt

Rice malt is a food similar to sugar beet syrup that, like this, is thickened by boiling it down without any additional ingredients . Visually similar to dark honey , it is however made from whole rice in a lengthy process . Rice malt has a very sweet taste, but not as strong as sugar . In combination with barley malt, it is used as a natural sweetener, which is rich in vitamin B and does not stress the blood sugar level as much.
