Riding gloves with reinforcements on the reins

A riding glove is a specially cut glove for riding .

Riding gloves are made from leather , for example elk leather or deer or deer leather or from robust fabrics, some with leather reinforcements or non-slip knobs made of soft polymers on the palm.

The shape should be tight, but not oppressive, and the seams should be in areas where no rein is passed over the hand to avoid chafing. Since the thumb is placed on the closed fist when riding, the cut of the glove thumb is such that this position can be assumed without resistance. Reinforcements can be provided in places where the reins run through the hands.
