Reconditioning (technology)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term reconditioning was derived from the English “reconditioning” and can be translated into German as overhaul, overhaul or repair. When packaging is reconditioned, the substance of the product is preserved and only repaired in the event of a defect. If the product is intact, internal and external mechanical cleaning is carried out using suitable cleaning agents and, in the case of barrels, after appropriate preparation, painting is carried out in order to return the reconditioned product to the cycle.

The necessary work steps correspond to international standards, whereby regulations of the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) apply to dangerous goods packaging .
