Rectors' Conference of the Universities of Applied Sciences Baden-Württemberg

The Rectors' Conference of the Universities of Applied Sciences Baden-Württemberg (RKH) is a voluntary association of 24 universities in Baden-Württemberg. The conference represents the interests of the universities in public and deals with common interests. The Rectors' Conference of the HAW has been based at the University of Applied Sciences Baden-Württemberg eV (HAW BW eV) , which operates an office in the state capital of Stuttgart, since 2013 .

Since June 2010, the universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg have been called Universities of Applied Sciences. The Rectors 'Conference of the Universities of Applied Sciences in Baden-Württemberg was therefore renamed the Rectors' Conference of the Universities of Applied Sciences Baden-Württemberg by resolution of September 24, 2010.

Tasks of the RKH

  • Promotion of cooperation between universities in Baden-Württemberg,
  • Representation of the interests of the member universities at the science administration of the state of Baden-Württemberg and the federal government,
  • Informing the member universities about university-political developments and problems,
  • Preparation of statements on university and science policy issues,
  • Representation of the interests of the member universities in public and in the formation of political will,
  • Maintaining international relations.
  • The RKH also works with the University Rectors 'Conference (HRK), other state rectors' conferences and suitable organizations at home and abroad to promote their goals and in fulfilling their tasks.

Board

The board of directors of HAW BW eV is also the board of directors of the Rectors' Conference.

Members

The member universities of HAW BW eV are also members of the Rectors' Conference.
