Religious student associations

Religious fraternities are fraternities that rely on a religion or denomination as the greatest unifying element.

A distinction is made between the following groups:

• Christian fraternities
  • with non-denominational principle (ecumenical): e.g. B. Wingolfsbund
  • with religious affiliation: z. B. Catholic fraternities
• Jewish student associations , which, however, perished during the National Socialist era .
