René Perez
René Pérez Serrano is a retired Mexican soccer player in the position of striker .
career
Pérez played in the 1970s first for the capital club Cruz Azul (1973 to 1975) and then for the UANL Tigres (1975 to 1978) based in northern Mexico . With both teams he won the Mexican soccer championship once : with the Cementeros in the 1973/74 season and with the Tigres in the 1977/78 season.
His last season in the highest Mexican league was the 1979/80 season, in which he was under contract with the later relegated CSD Jalisco . There he completed only one mission when he was substituted on for Agustín Méndez on January 13, 1980 in the away game at Deportivo Toluca (1: 2) a quarter of an hour before the end of the game.
