history

After the December 31, 1973 elections, two parties, the Arab List of Bedouins and Nomads and the Progress and Development Party , decided to merge. Both founded the Reschima Arawit Me'uchedet party on January 21, 1974 . This had three seats in the Knesset, MPs were Hamad Abu Rabia , Jabar Muʿaddī and Seif-El-Din El-Zubi .

In the elections on May 17, 1977, the party received only one seat. Thereupon the three politicians agreed to carry out a rotation. However, Abu Rabia was murdered on January 12, 1981 by the sons of Jabar Muʿaddīs. In the 1981 elections, the party failed to pass the 1.5% barrier and did not get into the Knesset.
