Reschop bunker
The Reschop bunker is an air raid shelter from the time of the Second World War. It is located west of the old town of Hattingen . It was last designed for 4,000 people.
history
The construction was carried out by the architect Georg Knaup . The construction work began on September 1, 1941 by the Werner company. It was put into operation in mid-1944.
In 2014 the bunker was sold to the brothers Tim and Michael Reich in order to build residential units on top of the structure.
