Reverse domain hijacking

As reverse domain hijacking refers to the attempt which domain a foreign website (URL) to acquire by allowing the owner of Domaingrabbings accused therefore claimed that the domain stand because of a registered brand name oneself to.

The unsuccessful attempt by Deutsche Welle to get legal access to the domain dw.com, which the American software company Diamond Ware had been operating since 1994, became known. Deutsche Welle later bought the domain and has been using it since the relaunch on June 22, 2015.
