The series is about Forrest MacNeil, who as a critic of the television show "Review" reviews life experiences. In addition, viewers send him suggestions as to what MacNeil should evaluate, such as drug addiction, being a racist or being divorced. MacNeil carries out all the required reviews without exception, often with a negative impact on his private life.
