The Review of Environmental Economics and Policy ( REEP ) is an economic journal devoted to the topic of environmental economics and policy and is the official journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE) and the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) acts. The magazine is published at one issue per semester by Oxford University Press .

REEP was founded in 2007 after many years of discussion within AERE. The contributions deal with research results in environmental economics and environmental policy and are intended to serve to exchange ideas and findings between the fields. The magazine aims to fill the gap between traditional academic journals such as the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, also published by AERE, and the public press .

According to the magazine itself in 2016, the impact factor was 3,097. According to the citation analysis by the Elsevier publishing house , REEP is considered one of the best journals in the field of environmental economics.
