Reykjanes Bride
The Reykjanes Bride is one of the most important streets in Iceland . It connects the Icelandic capital Reykjavík with the international airport Keflavík .
The road is number 41 and runs roughly on the north bank of the Reykjanes peninsula . The Reykjanesbraut was built in 1912 and has been paved since 1965. In the years 2003 to 2008 it was expanded to a four-lane road. This route has motorway-like exits, but, as is usual in Iceland, without any signage.
