Małpa
Małpa [ ˈmawpa ] (* 1985 in Toruń , Poland , as Łukasz Małkiewicz ; translated "monkey") is a Polish rapper . He is co-founder of the Polish hip-hop - duo Proximite. Małpa has worked with musicians such as Diox, Donatan, Małolat, Parias, Pezet, PTP, Pyskaty, The Returners, WENA and WhiteHouse, among others.
Career
On October 27, 2009, Małpa independently released his debut album Kilka numerów o czymś (Eng. "Some numbers about nothing"). After selling a thousand digital copies of the album by Małpa himself, the Polish record label Asfalt Records also marketed it on CD . The album received mostly positive reviews from both critics and the public. Three years after the album was released, it was sold over 15,000 times, which meant it was awarded the gold record . In February 2013 Małpa published the song Skała with the accompanying video on YouTube . So far it has been viewed there over seven million times.
