Rhön cycling marathon
The Rhön -Radmarathon is a nationally known cycling marathon that is organized annually over the Whitsun days by the cycling club '77 Bimbach. The Rhön cycle marathon is one of the most important and difficult marathons in Germany.

In 2012 three routes will be offered. A "Basic" variant with 170 km and 2,600 meters of altitude, a "Classic" variant with 205 km and 3,400 meters of altitude and the actual "Extreme" marathon with 238 km and 4,500 meters of altitude.
As part of the RTF event , which takes place on Saturday and Sunday and is part of the Rhön Special Cup series, distances of 20 km (family tour), 52 km, 77 km, 112 km, 152 km (only on Saturday ) and mountain bike tours are offered.
