Rhopalos (son of Heracles)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rhopalos ( Greek  Ῥόπαλος ) is the son of Heracles in Greek mythology .

While Eustathios of Thessalonike calls him the father of Phaistos , Pausanias reports Phaistos is also a son of Heracles.

Photios I says that Rhopalus was the first to sacrifice Heracles to his father like a god, while Pausanias attributes this to Phaistos.
