Richard Maroke

Richard Maroke (* 1879 in Kleinitz ; † after 1930) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Maroke worked as a blacksmith's assistant until 1906. From January 1907 to 1912 he was a full-time Gauleiter of the community and state workers' association in Frankfurt am Main and from 1912 to September 1919 employed secretary on the main board based in Berlin. From October 1919 to at least 1930 he was managing director and second chairman of the main board of the Reich Association of War Disabled, War Participants and War survivors based in Berlin.

In the Reichstag election in 1912 , he ran in the Reichstag constituency district Wiesbaden 5 (Dillenburg-Oberwesterwald) and received 2062 votes, which was 9.4%. 1921–1924 he was a member of the Prussian state parliament .
