Richard Traunmüller

Richard Traunmüller (* 1980 in Linz ) is an Austrian political scientist .

Life

In 2007 he received his diploma in sociology from the Humboldt University in Berlin and in 2011 the Dr. rer. soc. at the University of Konstanz . From 2014 to 2020 he taught as a junior professor for empirical democracy research at the Goethe University . Since 2020 he has been professor for political science and empirical democracy research at the University of Mannheim .

His main research interests are the politics of free speech and censorship, the preferences of citizens for migration politics and the consequences of sexual violence during the war.
