The Rindal Bygdemuseum is an open-air museum in western Norway and an organizational branch of the Nordmøre Museum . It was founded in 1950. The museum comprises 14 buildings with workshops for various craftsmen and a large number of books and photographs. In the summer of 2014, a ski museum was opened within the museum. This also happened against the background that the village has a tradition in ski production and several medal winners at the Olympic Games come from Rindal.
