history

Woldegk

Rinderallianz GmbH was founded on November 1st, 1991 as Rinderbesamung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH (RBMV). The shareholders were the Rinderzuchtverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern eG (RZMV) and the Rinderzucht Schleswig-Holstein eG (RSH). The RZMV transferred its entire business activity - with the exception of the herd bookkeeping - from October 1st, 1995 to the cattle insemination Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH (RBMV). At the same time, the RBMV was renamed the Rinderzucht Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH (RMV), with offices in Woldegk and Karow.

The general assembly of the Rinderzuchtverband Sachsen-Anhalt eG (RSA) decided on March 11, 2014 to outsource the business areas of cattle insemination, breeding and marketing and to bring them into the Rinderzucht Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH. With the merger of RSA and RMV, the name was changed to Rinderallianz GmbH.

Rinderallianz GmbH has three shareholders: Milchkontroll- und RinderzuchtVerband eG (38%), Rinderzucht Schleswig-Holstein eG (37%) and Rinderzucht Sachsen-Anhalt eG (25%).

Breeding and marketing center in Bismark

The Rinderzuchtverband Sachsen-Anhalt eG was founded on March 15th, 1990 in Fischbeck / Elbe and started its business on June 1st, 1990. The RSA is located in Bismark (main office, breeding and marketing center) and Halle (“South” office).

The Rinderzuchtverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern eG (RZMV) was founded by 60 farmers and companies on June 22, 1990 in Laage. On March 28, 2019, the Rinderzuchtverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern eG (RZMV) and the State Control Association for Performance and Quality Testing MV eG (LKV) merged in Güstrow to form the Milchkontroll- und RinderzuchtVerband eG (MRV). Milk control and cattle breeding in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are therefore under one company.

Locations, events and products

Karow

The main office of the Rinderallianz GmbH is located in Woldegk, together with the insemination station with 250 places for the rearing and keeping of the breeding bulls, mainly of the German Holstein breed and small numbers of individual beef cattle breeds. The semen obtained and stored in Woldegk is delivered directly to the farmer or made available for insemination at home and abroad via other German stations or GGI-SPERMEX GmbH (German export organization). A total of around 900,000 sperm portions are marketed annually, with around 300,000 portions being collected by the insemination technicians of the cattle alliance for customers. In addition to the insemination activity, fertility management concepts can also be implemented for the farms.

Other Mecklenburg offices are located in Güstrow and Karow near Plau am See. Güstrow acts as the headquarters of the Milchkontroll- und RinderzuchtVerband eG. The Karow office serves the marketing of breeding and livestock as well as the processing of import and export orders for dairy and beef cattle. The auction hall will u. a. used for the annual "top genetics auction Sunrise Sale" and for the beef bull auction.

Bismark

Bismark and Halle (Saale) form the offices of Rinderallianz GmbH in Saxony-Anhalt. The Bismarker breeding cattle hall is the location of the marketing in Saxony-Anhalt. Here, too, the processing of import and export orders for dairy and beef cattle as well as the breeding and livestock trade takes place. Special events in the breeding cattle hall are the annual beef cattle days and HolsteinVision as a joint association show of the cattle alliance. The "Cattle Breeding Museum Saxony-Anhalt" was integrated into the Bismark branch.

As the southernmost office, Halle is responsible for coordinating this area together with the beef cattle department in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. Both federal states form the largest beef cattle population in Germany.

In addition, the company is involved in the work of young breeders and offers young breeder competitions and training for dairy cattle and beef young breeders.
