Rio Declaration on Environment and Development

The Rio Declaration on Environment and Development , mostly short Rio Declaration (Engl. Rio Declaration on Environment and Development ), the international law non-binding outcome of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), which as so-called Earth Summit 1992 Rio de Janeiro took place. It contains 27 principles that the states should observe with regard to politics , legislation , economy and science in order to guarantee the protection of the environment and sustainable development .
