Architecture and history

The two-storey residential building facing Ritterstrasse goes back to the 15th century. The current late Gothic building was probably built on the site of a previous wooden building from the 14th century. Parts of today's cellar masonry could go back to a previous building. The property has two other buildings grouped around the courtyard. Renovations were carried out in the 17th and 18th centuries. Major repairs took place in 1927. A renovation was completed in 2007.

The building was registered as a monument on April 15, 1997 and is registered under number 3075 in the Estonian register of monuments.
