Robert de St John
Robert de St John († March 1267 ) was an English nobleman.
Robert de St John was a son of William de Port and his wife Mabel de St John. His father had adopted the name St John as the husband of Roger de St John's heiress . 1254 he is referred to as the Lord of Basing in Hampshire . In 1258 he should take part in the campaign of King Heinrich III. to attend Wales. After the death of her father in 1265, he inherited the Honor of Halnaker in Sussex and possessions in five other counties through his mother Mabel . In 1266 he became the commandant of Portchester Castle , but died in 1267.
St John had married Agnes, a daughter of William III de Cantilupe . His heir became his son John de St John .
