Robert de Umfraville (nobleman, † around 1195)
Robert de Umfraville (also Robert II de Umfraville ) († before September 29, 1195) was an Anglo-Scottish nobleman.
Robert de Umfraville came from the Anglo-Scottish Umfraville family . He was the eldest son of Odinel II de Umfraville and his wife Alice de Lucy. When his father died in 1183, Robert was probably just of legal age. Robert inherited extensive estates in Northumberland from his father , including Prudhoe Castle , as well as other estates in Yorkshire , Rutland and Suffolk . He confirmed his father's donation to Newminster Abbey . Apparently he remained unmarried. Perhaps he died in 1194, or before Michaelmas 1195 at the latest . His brother Richard became his heir .
