Robertet is a French fragrance and flavor manufacturer based in Grasse . The listed company, which focuses on the processing of natural raw materials, is part of the French stock index CAC Small . The relative majority of the company's shares are owned by the Maubert family.

The company has manufacturing facilities in France, the United Kingdom, India, Singapore, China, Japan, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States.

The company was founded in 1850 by François Chauve. He quickly hired his nephew, the perfumer and distiller Jean-Baptiste Maubert. 25 years later, in 1875, Paul Robertet took over the company and renamed it after his name. Despite the takeover, Maubert stayed with the company. Robertet's success in fragrance production was awarded a gold medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1900 . In 1923 Maurice Maubert, son of Jean-Baptiste Maubert, took over the management.
