Roberto Mistretta

Roberto Mistretta (* 1963 in Mussomeli ) is an Italian writer , children's book - screenplay - and crime writer .

Life

Mistretta was born in Sicily in the municipality of Mussomeli ( province of Caltanissetta ). After his degree in journalism , he first wrote for the newspaper La Sicilia in Catania . With the children's book Il mistero delle ombre rubate , he won the Premio Giovanni Arpino Prize in 2003 . The series of children's books in the edition Le parole d'oro by Terzo Millenio also includes the works Ladro funesto and Lilly il lenzuolino volante . The same publisher published the Punto e Virgola edition , to which Mistretta contributed the books Fiammella di luce and La cascata dell'acqua ribelle .

Among his best-known works in Germany are the stories about Maresciallo Bonanno from the Sicilian but fictional town of Villabosco , who is alone with his growing daughter after his divorce. So far, four episodes of the series have appeared.
