Rockford (automobile)

Rockford is the name for a planned was US -amerikanisches automobile , which in 1903 Rockford (Illinois) should be designed and manufactured there.

Behind the project were JJ Cole and his son, who ran a shop with a mechanical workshop in Rockford, where bikes, complete automobiles, motorcycles and lawnmowers were sold and serviced. They made a prototype that came to be known as Cole .

The automobile was planned as an open touring car with a four-cylinder engine . However, the vehicle was never built.
