Rocky Mountain House Museum

The Rocky Mountain House Museum is a museum located in Alberta , Clearwater County , 5406-48 Street, Hwy. 11, Rocky Mountain House, which also houses an archive.

Maintained by the Rocky Mountain House Reunion Historical Society since 1983, it has been focused on the daily lives of non-indigenous settlers and the timber industry of the early 20th century. Since May 2000, the then expanded building has also housed the local tourist information center, the Rocky Mountain House & District Chamber of Commerce and the Visions West Outreach High School .

The archive and museum recover artifacts from the area of ​​Rocky Mountain House, Clearwater County, they cover the period between the late 19th century and around 1970. In total, there are more than 6,000 artifacts and several thousand photos that are not yet available Internet are available.
