Rodolfo Cogliatti (* 1976 in Petrópolis ) is a Brazilian composer and music teacher .

The son of Italian immigrants entered the Marco Aurelio Xaviers choir at the age of thirteen, where he took singing and piano lessons and music theory lessons. He was a member of the choir as a singer and soloist for six years and took part in a large number of concerts during that time. a. with the Orquestra Sinfonica Brasileira .

At the Conservatório Brasileiro de Música he studied Italian opera and bel canto with Haydèe Barretto . From 1993 he studied counterpoint, fugue and orchestration with the composer and teacher at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro , Sergio di Sabbato .

Since 1994 Cogliatti has been teaching singing, piano and music theory himself and has performed as a pianist and choir director. He composed choral music, chamber music works, piano pieces and organ works and conducts research in the field of ancient sacred music from Brazil and Portugal.
