The Congregation of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus ( Latin : Congregatio Rogationis a Corde Jesu , abbreviation : RCJ ) is a Catholic religious order . The name of the community is derived from the Latin word rogare (= pray, request).

The Rogationists were founded in Italy in 1897 by St. Annibale Maria Di Francia (1851–1927) and officially recognized as a congregation by the Pope in 1926 . It includes priests and lay brothers.

The spirituality of the religious community is based on the word of Jesus: “The harvest is great, but few are the workers. Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send workers into his harvest ” (Mt 9: 37-38 and Lk 10: 2) centered. As the name of the community indicates, devotion to the Sacred Heart also plays a major role.

Currently (2006) the Order has branches in: Albania, Italy, Poland, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, the USA, Rwanda, Cameroon, South Korea, India and the Philippines.
